International Service encompasses efforts to expand Rotary’s humanitarian reach around the world and to promote world understanding and peace. It includes everything from contributing to PolioPlus to helping Rotary Youth Exchange students adjust to their host countries.
|Golden Valley Rotarians have sponsored many incoming and outgoing exchange students over our long history. Many students from foreign countries develop lifelong relationships with Rotary sponsors.
The Golden Valley Rotary Club’s members are also proud supporters of the Rotary
Foundation of Rotary International. The foundation contributes $100 million annually to causes that improve the lives of millions of disadvantaged people in 165 countries. Golden Valley Rotarians annually contribute among the highest per capita in Minnesota District 5950.
